On 7th .May, a huge crane was being putted into work successfully amid people’s cheers, General manager of ZPMC Guan Hongxian announced insolently that the biggest self-propelled floating revolving crane 7500 tons in the world has been successfully developed. this crane will do more effort to our ocean engineering works, it not only created a new world record in lifting capacity, but also adopted lots of domestic independent researching and developing products and technologies.

 

Before “Blue whale” being produced, ZPMC made a test to KONI Company electric motor, and acknowledged that KONI product fully comply with the requirements of “blue whale”, and decided to employ KONI electric motors. On the other side, this project attracted high attention of KONI company leaders, they assure that KONI must keep their product conception “high efficiency, energy saving, low noise, safe and reliable running”, and seek for greater perfection simultaneously.

 

At present, the “blue whale” is running steadily, ZPMC highly praised KONI motors, KONI company expressed that KONI will try its best to service for the development of harbor machinery in later cooperation between the two parties.

 

7500 tons Floating Crane created a new record in the world, there are only two floating Crane above 7000 tons in the world before, both serve in Europe. 7500 tons are equal to the weight of Eiffel tower, this crane has the function of full circle swinging and self-propelling.

 

Motors KONI company provide for Blue whale are mainly YZP Series variable frequency three phase asynchronous crane motors ,frame 315 and above ,including 4 units YZP450L1.Their protection degree is IP56, voltage 415/690V,with PTC,220V heater band,FSMA over-speed switch,HLE45P encoder attached; all these motors got ABS certification; from a technical perspective, those motors can be ranked beside the best of their kind in our country
